At Rayonier, we evaluate every acre of our timberlands to ensure each reaches its highest and best use. Some of our lands that had a previous highest and best use of growing timber are now in the path of residential, industrial and commercial growth making it more valuable for other uses.
One example is our large land holdings in the high-value Interstate 95 coastal corridor that position us for long-term success in the region. Some of our lands are now best suited for conservation or rural recreation uses.
